Meet the Founder and Executive Coach of Helping The Helper:
Dr. Jasmine Samrad, JSD, LLM, JD, CLC, CWC
Jasmine Samrad ("Coach Jaz") is a gifted coach and educator who has focused her talents exclusively on the promotion of wellness and higher consciousness.
A former corporate and intellectual property attorney, Jasmine stepped out of a 6-figure practice at a big-name law firm to work more directly on her passion for helping others achieve their highest and best selves.
Over the years, she has worked in a variety of the wellness arts, included as a trainer, certified therapeutic massage, bereavement counselor, disability assistant, and hospice volunteer, and finally, her ultimate passion, coaching.
While working as an Executive Life and Wellness Coach, she decided to use her 18 years combined experience in the wellness and business fields to launch Helping The Helper Consulting, a marketing training program dedicated to helping others in the healthcare and wellness professions grow their practices and lives and reach more people with their gifts. Her purpose in found Helping The Helper is quite simply, to change the world. She says,
"In my many years in wellness I have come to realize that it is often the helpers and healers who first introduce transformation and greater consciousness to the rest of us. These are amazing and dedicated professionals who unfortunately, often struggle with the nuts-and-bolts of growing sustainable practices. I founded this practice-buidling training program and community because I wanted to help the helper reach more people today, not tomorrow or never, and because when we help the helper, we help the world!"
As Executive Coach of Helping The Helper Consulting, Jasmine supervises a dedicated staff who provide online marketing and practice-building coaching and education to professionals in the wellness and healing arts.
Because of her passion for promoting wellness and healing in the world, Coach Jaz stays personally involved with moderating the HelpingTheHelper.com discussion forum and refining the HTH marketing programs. She continues to speak, write, and train about wellness promotion to a number of institutions, including training schools, hospitals, professional groups, and companies.
Dr. Samrad holds two doctoral degrees and one post-law masters degrees in the law, focusing on the nexus of science and ethics with comparative and international law. She was awarded a rare interdisciplinary doctorate degree (J.S.D.) from UC Berkeley that focused in the area of Law, Medicine & Ethics. She holds another graduate law degree (the LL.M.) from UC Berkeley, and a professional doctorate in law (JD) from UC Davis.
Jasmine also has over a decade of experience in the behavioral sciences, coaching, and other change-making fields. She has a B.S. in Premedical Studies and Psychobiology, also from UC Davis. Before shifting to a coaching model, she pursued a doctorate in counseling psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (now Alliant) and has substantial research and academic training in positive psychology, leadership psychology, and personal growth and optimization science.
She holds several advanced ICF-accredited training certifications in a number of wellness-related coaching specialties. Her coaching certifications are granted under programs accredited by the International Coaching Federation, the highest accrediting and ethical standards in the coaching profession.
In her boutique private practice as a Certified Life and Wellness Coach, Jasmine specializes in supporting women in leadership and top performance positions to balance their lives more effectively, create high-level wellness in mind and body, and pursue a path of conscious, spiritual leadership.
"Women in influential, leadership and top-performance positions are still so very rare in our supposedly modern world. They undergo constant challenges and stressors and the ongoing battle to balance their personal and spiritual lives with the demands of achieving peak performance and/or heading up a top-level organization in an often male-dominated industry."
"By supporting such amazing women, I'm helping to create a world where they are no longer the exception in management and high-performance fields such as medicine, law or finance, and where their collaborative, non-hierarchical approach and "feminine leadership" style is given the respect it deserves." She offers values-based "inspirational leadership" coaching to VP and C-level executives and their teams, primarily within healthcare and wellness organizations but also to institutions within traditional industries that want to promote wellness and heart within their organizations."
Whatever your sphere of influence, whether as a feminine leader, a helper, a healer, a promoter of wellness and consciousness in the world, Coach Jaz is dedicated to removing the barriers to manifesting your fullest potential. Together, we will help you, help the world!
